• Shut down gas feeds and electric power in the immediate area
• Control potential environmental exposures, including chemical releases and storm water discharge contamination

Communicate

Summon First Responders

• Call 9-1-1 and advise of the type of incident, injuries, number of injured and location of incident

Notify Client and Partners as Necessary

Stop Work and/or Evacuate the Site if Necessary

The senior Turner person or designee on site should determine if partial or full evacuation or if any work-stoppage is required.

• Do not use hoists or elevators for evacuation
• Account for all personnel
• Follow Operations Manager and Site Manager assessment regarding when it is safe to re-enter the building

Secure Site

A gatekeeper must control access to the location.

Engage with First Responders

A Turner representative must meet with the emergency responders.
